Author Bio: Katta Mapes MA, MEd
Katta Mapes, MA, MEd is a consultant, trainer, and writer in Tucson, AZ. Her services include classes, workshops, and individual sessions on a broad range of psychospiritual topics and issues. She offers an intuitive and creative approach to problem solving and strategizing as “Your Personal Think Tank.” Currently she is forming classes and support groups for psychic kids, teens, and their parents with a Super Sensitive Sixth Sense. As a retired school guidance counselor and spiritual explorer she brings decades of experience in helping children, youth, and adults. Her books, Stop! Think! Choose!: Building Emotional Intelligence in Young People and A Manual for Teacher Training in Interpersonal Peacemaking are now out of print and are only available from the author at [email protected]. When Katta was in grade school she couldn't get her eyes on enough stories about ghosts and the supernatural. Since then, she has had an interest in knowing more about what is beyond the little picture of life. This interest has carried her to some profound experiences as a student of Maryellen Burnett of Inner Wisdom Mystery School in Tucson, AZ and other spiritual teachers. As a psychospiritual guide and explorer she continues to live, learn, love, and laugh with insight into the Big Picture of Life. After over three decades of working with adults, children, and teens from various countries, she initiated a psychospiritual entrepreneurship endeavor: Creating Conscious Connections LLC. Her goal is to promote social, emotional, and spiritual well-being for all. All programs are available in English and Spanish anywhere in the world with Zoom.

Author Bio: Gary E. Schwartz PhD
Gary E. Schwartz, PhD is a senior professor of Psychology, Medicine, Neurology, Psychiatry, and Surgery at the University of Arizona. Before that, he was a professor at Harvard and Yale Universities. He directs the Laboratory for Advances in Consciousness and Health. This is where he does the scientific studies mentioned in this book. Dr. Schwartz is teaming up with scientists who study life after death. He started a group called the Academy for Advances in Postmaterialist Science. Scientists, university professors, and physicians from all over the world have joined this group. Dr. Schwartz has published more than four hundred and fifty scientific papers, including six in the journal Science, and co-edited thirteen academic books. He is the author of The Sacred Promise, The G.O.D. Experiments, The Afterlife Experiments, and others, and co-authored Greater Reality Living with Dr. Pitstick. Dr. Schwartz has been interviewed on many major network television and radio shows. His work has been the subject of movies and shows on Discovery, HBO, Syfy, A&E, Fox, and others. His research was featured in the movie The Life After Death Project. His work has been described in various magazines and newspapers including USA Today, the London Times, the New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, and others.

Author Bio: Mark Pitstick MA, DC
Mark Pitstick, MA, DC has fifty years’ experience and training in hospitals, pastoral counseling settings, mental health centers, and holistic health centers. His training includes a premedical degree, graduate theology studies, masters in clinical psychology, and doctorate in chiropractic health care. Mark has been blessed with clairaudient, revelatory, and spiritually transformative experiences. After working in hospitals with suffering and dying adults and children, he was motivated to find evidence-based answers to life’s biggest questions. Dr. Pitstick wrote Soul Proof, Radiant Wellness, and The Eleven Questions, and coauthored Greater Reality Living with Dr. Gary Schwartz. Mark produced the Soul Proof documentary film and created Healing and Transformative Audio-Products that use hypnosis, breathing, and guided imagery. A frequent media guest, Pitstick hosted two radio shows: Soul-utions and Ask the Soul Doctors. Mark directs the SoulPhone Foundation, founded Greater Reality Living groups, and is a research assistant for the SoulPhone Project.
