Summary

This Black woman has always been used as a pawn. She's about to graduate to Queen.

As the only daughter of a US Senator, Leslie has learned to manage life in the public eye. But when her father tries to marry her off to famous lawyer Geoff, she can't take it anymore. She wants more from life than just being arm candy for some two-faced white boy.

Soon Leslie realizes that Geoff didn't pick her because of the Senator. Geoff wants her as his partner because she's smart, strong, and capable. They decide there's only way to get out from under her dad's thumb.
