Summary

Broken, disillusioned, shattered. This wasn’t the life they dreamed of, the promises they were given when they said, “I do.” India, Kierre, and LaTavia aren’t looking through those rose-colored glasses anymore. Lives in shambles, marriages barely existing even on life support, the best friends gather the wagons trying to navigate where they all go from here.

India loves Chief, but he obviously doesn’t love her back. Not like he perpetrated when he finessed her into giving up her life, career, and future to be his wife, mother to his children. Overnight she seemed to become old news with him ready to move to someone younger, sexier, thinner, and less of a drain on his youth. Kicking herself for being unprepared for his treachery and betrayal, she scrambles to grasp onto the nearest life preserver, determined not to drown.

Their love life always top notch, her husband spends most days avoiding her. Promoted at her job, it becomes more burden than blessing with Jordan popping up at will showing no signs of letting her off the hook for the money she still owes him. Deciding she has to talk to Glen sooner rather than later, LaTavia makes a desperate ploy, consequences be damned.
