Smoke and Fire: Raptors: The New Guild, Book 1 (Raptors, Book 7)

Summary

A city rising from the ashes. A legacy written in smoke. A new generation of heroes who might just burn it all down.

Five years after the Tuldarian invasion nearly leveled Manhattan, things are suspiciously good for Sawyer Vincent. As the leader of the New Guild of Masked Crimefighters, he’s finally filling the suit of his legendary father, the original Black Harrier.

But the peace is a lie—and the smoke is just beginning to spread.

Someone is torching the city, specifically targeting Douglas-owned properties in a coordinated strike. As Manhattan burns, the political fallout is even more devastating: Mayor Franklin Douglas III is being framed for corruption and decades-old ties to organized crime.

When the manipulative Smokeshow arrives with a team of super-powered outcasts, she doesn’t just attack the Guild—she infiltrates their minds, turning their deepest insecurities into lethal weapons. With the hot-headed Red Raptor spiraling into a murderous rage and a mole threatening to tear the team apart, Sawyer’s imposter syndrome is the least of his worries. To stop the conspiracy and save his father’s legacy, Sawyer must use his memory-copying abilities to lead a fractured team against an enemy who knows their every move before they do.

Join the New Guild in this high-octane superhero epic, perfect for fans of Jaime Castle’s The Raptors and The Boys.

This is officially the start of a brand new Raptors series. You don’t need to listen to the series to enjoy The New Guild, though in chronological order, Smoke and Fire is book 7.
