Chasing Blue

Summary

Scarlett … One boy. One girl. One perfect summer.

I gave him my heart. And the morning after I gave him my all, he kissed me goodbye with a promise to call. He didn't. He never called again.

Now eighteen years later, in another state, at the other end of the country, he's here. The boy who left me with so much more than a broken heart is standing in front of me, looking gorgeous and calling me Blue, just like he used to. So I do the only sensible thing a girl can do to save her dignity, I pretend I don't remember him.

Jack …

After years lost in a toxic relationship, a curvy little redhead comes into my life and shows me all the things I didn't know I wanted. We had just one summer. We laughed. We danced. We took it slow.

The morning after she gave me everything, I left her sleeping in her bed. Just a few hours later I received a call that would rock my world and set my life on a different path, one that didn't include the girl I left with a kiss and a promise that morning. So I let her go. Eighteen years and a lifetime later, she walks into my bar. My Blue, the one that got away, making out she doesn't know who I am. So I do what a blokes gotta do, I remind her, and this time, I don't plan on letting her go.
