Murder in Morro Harbor

Summary

They called it natural causes when family matriarch Gloria Lancaster died. Yes, she was old. Yes, she had heart disease. But her niece Sydney has serious doubts. Especially with a fortune at stake and a house full of suspects.

Following the reading of the will, Sydney is positive her aunt was murdered by one of the selfish suspects who attended the meeting, every one of them dripping in probable cause. When Sydney vowed to get to the bottom of it, in walks a charming and self-assured private investigator, Taylor Lewis.

Sparks fly at first sight, but Taylor is bound by professional ethics to remain objective until the investigation is complete. Sydney, impressed with the officer's resolve, supports her effort. And what an effort it is, with temptation lurking around every corner. Peeling back layers of lies and resentment, the suspect list grows—and so does the heat between Taylor and Sydney.

In a family driven by greed, ambition, and desperation, everyone is hiding something … and no one is entirely innocent.
