Blood Orchid

Summary

Return to the world of the Midnight Hunters in this all-new spin-off, where paranormal investigation and steamy romance await.

Sheriff Fel Aronow has built her life on one truth: that evidence is stronger than instinct. When a series of brutal deaths points to a vicious, unidentifiable predator, she's forced to request help from the one investigator who challenges her belief about the world—and herself. If she can't identify the killer before fear rips her town apart, innocent lives and the fragile peace between Humans and Praeterns will be lost.

Tasked with discovering who's behind the conspiracy, Praetern Investigator Van Carras, a cat Were, has never wanted a mate. When Van's instinctive attraction to Fel threatens the balance between duty to the law and loyalty to her Pride, she must choose between the life she knows and a future she never imagined.

As the hunt draws closer to an enemy intent on turning the Humans and Praeterns against one another, Fel and Van must learn to trust what is growing between them before war erupts and their chance is lost forever.
