Summary

Summary

David Winkler dreams things before they happen-a man carrying a hatbox will be hit by a bus; he will fall in love with a woman in the supermarket. Both do come true-the latter happens when the two of them are on a flight to Cleveland. Winkler then dreams their daughter Grace will drown while he's trying to save her from a flood. To keep this from happening, he flees. Winkler moves to a Caribbean island and remains there for 25 years. Not until he dreams of saving an island girl from drowning does he embark on a journey to find his lost wife and daughter.
