Alchemy Unfolding

Summary

All I wanted was a glass of wine and a bath after a hard day at work.

Finding my boyfriend in bed with his secretary? Definitely not part of that plan. What's a woman to do? If your guess is to relocate across the country—ding-ding-ding—we have a winner. My new life plan: spend my nights working and my days basking in the San Diego sun.

Love? Not on my radar, until I meet Josh—a demigod brought to life as a gorgeous, golden surfer.

The man is perfect, with one tiny issue: he's thirteen years younger, and his friends won't let me forget that fact. Doesn't help my ego that I was in high school when some of them were … born.

Just as I start to believe Josh and I might have a future, the universe throws me another sadistic curveball when my ex transfers to my hospital, begging for a second chance after his illicit affair crashed and burned.

Can I navigate these unexpected twists, or will my fresh start be over before it begins?
