Summary

Special Agent Ingrid Skyberg has settled into her life in London working out of the US Embassy. She’s got a new apartment, a new roommate, and such a busy caseload she has forgotten about her exceedingly un-busy romantic life.

But then she gets a call from an old friend that catapults her into a dangerous new assignment. Devious malware has infected computer systems across the globe, and a British blogger knows more about the code than anyone else. Unfortunately, he’s disappeared just as the malware is about to activate. Can Special Agent Ingrid Skyberg track him down before the world is plunged into a catastrophic meltdown?

Ingrid’s first thought is that Russian or Chinese forces must have abducted him, but when she discovers the men who came for him had American accents, her mission takes a deadly turn. Now that Ingrid is the one in danger, the FBI insists she has backup, but help arrives in the shape of an agent from Ingrid’s past, and their past is … complicated.
