Summary

Rafi Janjua loves nature. Going camping? Not so much.

When his parents are called away to Pakistan to care for a sick relative, Rafi is rushed off to a summer camp he’s never heard of, with a counselor cousin he’s never met.

Luckily, Camp Magnificent has it all: lush forests, great hiking, fancy food, and survival training. The only downside is a persistent camper named Leena Khan. Leena is headstrong and extroverted, while Rafi prefers animals to people.

But the camp also has a killer secret. When the discovery of a body in the woods begins a camp-wide investigation that points to Rafi’s own cousin, Rafi and Leena realize that beneath the shiny surface of Camp Magnificent is a sinister history … one that threatens everything they hold dear.
