Summary

Alice Worth survived a kidnapping and said yes to a very important question. But before she and alpha werewolf Sean Maclin have a chance to celebrate, the fallout from a coup at the Vampire Court and the attack on her pack lands right on her doorstep. The Court's new leader threatens to destroy everything Alice has worked to build.

As Alice fights to protect herself and those around her, she and her ghost sidekick Malcolm reluctantly take the case of a man who claims he committed murder while controlled by a supernatural force. Though initially skeptical, they soon find evidence that supports his claim. The entity's murderous spree forces Alice and her allies to hunt it down while dealing with Alice's strange, vivid nightmares and mysterious attacks by followers of a black magic practitioner.

It's a hell of a to-do list: hunt a supernatural serial killer, keep herself and those she loves alive and out of prison, forge new alliances, and face a threat unlike any she has ever encountered. Betrayals, deadly traps, and black magic will send Alice to the deepest pits of Hell . . . and force her to choose between justice for the living and the rising power of the damned.
