Summary

NOEL: Being called a "loner Knight" doesn't faze me; I'm not a typical eighteen-year-old, and that’s fine. I prefer solitude. The only reason I'm a Knight is because my mom thinks I'm alone too much. She wants me to make friends, which is why I joined the Knight's fencing club. When a new student shows up, I'm surprised to see it's Alexander Madison, a boy who was my science partner at thirteen, and broke my heart when he moved away. He was my best friend. But Alex doesn't recognize me. I'm devastated, but more than that, I'm pissed. From this moment on, I hate Alex.
