Summary

Summary

Earl Woods was practicing his golf swing, hitting balls into a net in the family garage, when something remarkable happened. His nine-month-old son toddled over, set down a stray ball, and whacked it into the net with his own miniature golf club. "We've got a genius on our hands!" shouted Earl to his wife. This is the inspiring story of Tiger Woods, the best and most popular golfer in the world. With his huge smile, mixed racial heritage, and tremendous talent, Woods is a legend in his own lifetime. He holds so many records that experts consider him the greatest golfer of all time. Tiger doesn't just win tournaments--he blows away the competition. Matt Christopher brings athletic heroes to life in the #1 sports book series for kids. His previous books include On the Court with ... Michael Jordan and On the Ice with ... Wayne Gretzky.
