Phyllis Schlafly (1924–2016) was an American constitutional lawyer, author, and conservative activist. She was known for her staunchly conservative social and political views, her opposition to modern feminism, and her campaign against the ratification of the Equal Rights Amendment to the US Constitution.

Ed Martin has been president of Eagle Forum since January 2015 and previously served as chairman of the Missouri Republican Party, a member of the Republican National Committee, and was chief of staff for Missouri governor Matt Blunt. He lives with his wife and four children in St. Louis.

He holds a master’s degree in government from Johns Hopkins University and in national security and strategic studies from the US Naval War College. He lives in Washington, DC.
