Summary

Everly Hart's shade training takes a dangerous turn when she's sent to study at Scythemore Academy, where she's the only human in a school full of monsters. She's supposed to blend in, gather intel, and stay focused, which would be a lot easier if half the student body didn't look at her like she was tomorrow's lunch special. Not to mention her relationship with Hunter is falling apart. He's suddenly distant, elusive, and hiding something from her.

But grimms are turning up dead, and all the clues lead straight back to Scythemore. The murders don't match any pattern Everly recognizes, but each one points toward something impossible: a plot tied to the sealed supernatural prison holding the Grimm Reaper.
