Summary

Summary

Hugo Award–winning author Charles Stross continues to make a name for himself in the sci-fi genre. An epic spy adventure, The Jennifer Morgue is an extension of Stross’ award-winning novella The Concrete Jungle.

A special operative for the elite British agency titled The Laundry, Bob Howard is tasked with stopping rogue billionaire Ellis Billington from using an artifact known as Gravedust to reanimate the dead. Billington’s coup de grâce is a force of nature codenamed Jennifer Morgue, and if he manages to raise her from the murky depths, she’ll unleash hell. Howard has the help of lethal U.S. Black Agency operative Ramona Random to aid his mission, but she seems to have a hidden agenda.
